Antique Days Weekend
June 10 and 11, the past comes alive during demonstrations of antique farm machinery and exhibitions of household antiques, every year on the second weekend in June. Car and truck parade, food, country music, fun for all ages. Parking for RV motor homes. Tractor Pull competition. etc. etc.
9AM Saturday, registration opens for exibitors and tractor pull competitors.
11AM Saturday, the grounds open to the public. Free shuttle between the community centre at the top of the hill and parking on the main street. Volunteer firefighters offer hot dogs and other grill food at the canteen. Beer tent. Antique Tractor Pulls (1965 or older) start at 11 AM. At 6PM there is a “meshwi” style pig roast meal for $20. At 7PM there is a special mass indoors, while outdoors there is a Modified Mini-Tractor Pull.
Sunday, the grounds open at 11:00 AM and activities begin at 12 Noon with the Quigley Highlanders Pipe Band. Canteen available for lunch. Live country music and dancing under the beer tent in the afternoon. Exhibitions and activities run all day, indoors and outdoors, see the program for details. Hot supper at 4:30 PM and the 50/50 draw ends the day at 5:30.
Only $10 for adults includes both days. Children free if accompanied by an adult. Sorry, you can't bring dogs onto the site because of cows or other livestock and the moving machinery, etc.
